Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One™ Team and Sebastian Vettel have been disqualified from their second-place finish in the 2021 Hungarian Grand Prix.
Sebastian avoided the chaos at the beginning of the Grand Prix and worked his way to second before engaging in a race-long duel for victory with Alpine's Esteban Ocon.
His second-place finish initially secured the team's second podium of the 2021 season following Sebastian's earlier podium in Azerbaijan.
But following a routine post-race procedure in Hungary, it was found that Sebastian's car was unable to provide the required quantity of fuel for a sample.
The FIA stewards' decision doesn't take away from an otherwise flawless drive from Sebastian.
