Members of Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One™ Team (AMF1) donate gifts to Northamptonshire's Mother Christmas gift appeal.
At AMF1, we 'Make a Mark' where we live, work and race, and this includes our support of the Mother Christmas initiative as we continue to shape our positive social legacy beyond the racetrack.
We invited Jeanette Walsh, also known as Mother Christmas, to the AMF1 factory at Silverstone to collect gifts donated by team members. The gifts were given to children in care across Northamptonshire for them to open on Christmas Day.
Jeanette, a retired social worker, is the driving force behind the annual gift appeal to make sure that those with the least receive a present at Christmas.
Jeanette's remarkable story includes being taken into care at the age of five, and her journey motivates her to do what she can for children in similar situations, particularly at a time of year that is challenging for many.
