Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of welcoming a new cohort of students from The Aleto Foundation to the AMR Technology Campus for the start of our nine-month leadership programme designed to give young ethnic minority students experience in motorsport and STEM.
Aston Martin Aramco and The Aleto Foundation have a shared mission to increase diversity and participation in motorsport. As part of our Make A Mark responsible business strategy, we are breaking down barriers to provide a pathway for the next generation to careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).
In July, we celebrated the graduation of our 2023-24 cohort who joined us on a mentoring journey to develop skills, knowledge and networks within the motorsport industry. And now we've we welcomed another group of mentees to our Technology Campus to begin a new nine-month tailored leadership programme aimed at providing guidance from dedicated mentors, industry insights and hands-on experience at Aston Martin Aramco.
On their first day, the students heard from Team Principal Mike Krack, developed public speaking experience and gained an insight into how they can develop their skills.
