Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One™ Team has written the first chapter in a new era. And while the racing naturally took centre stage in 2021, it was only one side of our story.
From the team's debut in Bahrain to Sebastian Vettel's podium in Azerbaijan and Lance Stroll's impeccable charge to sixth in Qatar, there were, of course, standout moments on track.
But, beyond the pit lane, there has been plenty to keep the team, our partners and our loyal fans entertained and engaged throughout the course of this landmark year.
Whether it was revealing the AMR21 to the world, bringing fans into our home at the British Grand Prix weekend, or playing our part in the launch of James Bond's 'No Time To Die', we’ve certainly been busy.
Now, as we reflect on the year that has been, take a look back at some of the most special moments of 2021: every one of them made possible by you, the fans, and your incredible support.
The comeback begins…
On March 3, Aston Martin officially began its Formula One comeback, reaching millions of fans, media and casual observers around the globe with perhaps the most anticipated launch in recent history.
Presented through an interactive platform known as 'The Vault', the event built towards the launch of the AMR21: Aston Martin's first works Formula One car since 1960.
Gemma Arterton hosted the likes of Lawrence Stroll, Otmar Szafnauer, Lance Stroll and Sebastian Vettel in a Q&A, while stars such as Daniel Craig and Tom Brady played their part from afar.
While the relentless pace of Formula One meant the car was on track just 24 hours later, we were also able to bring our fans into the heart of the story, going behind the scenes to discover the dedication of almost 500 people who helped bring the story to life.
Launching the AMR21 to the world
Aston Martin made history as it launched the AMR21, returning to F1 as a manufacturer for the first time in 61 years. Relive the moment the car and team was revealed to the world through our behind-the-scenes video.

The story of Silverstone: Our fans
Every race, we look for the best stories from the weekend to share with our fans. At Silverstone, the fans were the story. This episode of INSIDER put you at the very heart of our British Grand Prix journey.
Licence to Thrill
From London to Monza, past to present. Throughout the Italian Grand Prix weekend and the month of September, Aston Martin celebrated its enduring partnership with James Bond as 'No Time To Die' neared its cinema release.
No Time To Die marked the first James Bond film to feature four models of Aston Martin, making it the perfect milestone to celebrate over 50 years of 007 behind the wheel of the famous British marque.
Beginning with a Battersea event complete with a full-size Corgi replica of the original 1965 DB5 and ending with a premiere event in London's Royal Albert Hall, Aston Martin celebrated in style.
From Nico Hülkenberg learning the art of stunt driving in a DB5 to a 007-themed Lance vs. Seb and Bond-themed livery for the AMR21, this was as true celebration of an iconic partnership.

Capturing history with Crypto.com
Early this year, the team collaborated with Global Partner Crypto.com to create a series of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), a unit of data stored on a blockchain, effectively as a record of data.
The series of limited edition, collectible assets commemorated Aston Martin's return to Grand Prix racing after more than 60 years.
They featured dynamic video content of the reveal of the AMR21, Sebastian and Lance's historic first runs in the new car, and a stunning slow-motion pit-stop feature.
Thanks to Crypto.com, fans were able to own their piece of our history and, as a result, their own piece of F1 history.
