The Singapore Grand Prix produced one of Formula One's most dramatic events of the year, and this was fully emphasised by the incredible photography taken throughout the weekend.
With the artificial lights beaming down, heat and humidity pushing drivers to their limits, and a bit of rain mixed in, we were treated to some stunning images throughout the weekend at Marina Bay's iconic street circuit.

Shot on a Canon EOS R3, 16-35mm lens
"This has become quite the classic shot at the Marina Bay Circuit. The bus stops around the city have a mirrored stainless steel finish, and when the cars pass by creates this double image.
"It's shot through a fence, so you have to use a very slow shutter speed (one fifth of a second here) to blur out the details of the fence while still maintaining a sharp car.
"It is quite tricky and takes some practice to nail, but it is a nice feeling when it comes out right."

"This is also using a slow shutter speed (1/10th of a second) but by adding in a flash from the camera, it creates this unique shot.
"It freezes the car, but the background completely blurs out, but the effects from the lights add to the dynamic of this photo."

"Photographers usually carry a handful of filters at a Grand Prix to reduce the light entering the lens. These are called neutral density filters, but at night races most of us also have a star filter.
"Here, I've placed a four-pointed star filter in front of the lens. The individual lights all turn into stars, which is quite a cool effect."

"The heat and humidity in Singapore is one of the biggest challenges for everybody throughout the race weekend.
"I really like the effect of the steam coming from the dry ice as Lance tries to keep cool in the garage before going out for FP2."

"While we were all waiting for the rainstorm to pass on Sunday, I thought I'd try and take a few photos that incorporated both the rain and the team itself, including this one of the empty pitwall.
"By placing the camera on the floor and using a fast shutter speed and shallow aperture, this enabled me to capture the individual drops for this neat, atmospheric shot."
