Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One™ Team Driver Ambassador Jessica Hawkins visited The British International School of Jeddah to inspire the next generation.
Ahead of the 2022 Saudi Arabia Grand Prix, Jessica spoke to Year 6 students about her experiences in motorsport and the career opportunities it can offer young men and women.
Taking place during the school's final week of their science fair, Jessica's visit helped further inspire the next generation into career paths across motorsport and STEM subjects more widely.
In a Q&A hosted by Simon Clark, the school's Primary Deputy Head Teacher, Jessica discussed her experiences of being a woman in motorsport and how the students could enter the world of motorsport and technology.
It's been a delight to hear from the students and to answer their questions.
"I've really enjoyed my visit today, and sharing my experiences with the students here," said Jessica.
"I think it's really important for young people in the Kingdom to realise the many opportunities that exist in the world of motorsport, regardless of your background or gender.
"It's been a delight to hear from the students, and to answer their questions, and I really hope I've helped to inspire the next generation of motorsport professionals here in Saudi Arabia."
Jessica also signed driver cards for the students, capping a memorable experience for the school.
