INSIDER: What does working in F1 communications involve?

MATT BISHOP

Formula One is always unpredictable and can throw up curveballs at a moment's notice.

During the Monaco Grand Prix weekend, we followed the story of a team member who has to be prepared for any eventuality: Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One™ Team Chief Communications Officer Matt Bishop.

Sebastian Vettel battled his way to a point in a challenging wet-to-dry race on Sunday, but performance on the track is just one element of the weekend. Working effectively with media and fans is also essential.

We join Matt as he prepares the drivers and senior personnel for media sessions and press conferences.

Away from the track, we visit Monaco's iconic harbour, relax with Nico Hülkenberg aboard our team yacht and catch up with Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge as he prepares food for our VIP guests.

There's even an appearance from Polish international footballer Robert Lewandowski as he visits us in the paddock.

Join us at the heart of our Monaco weekend to meet the members of our team and be inspired by their stories as #WeClimbTogether.
