Before last weekend's Canadian Grand Prix, our team visited McGill University's downtown Montréal campus to connect with students wanting to pursue careers in STEM and motorsport.
As part of our Make A Mark responsible business programme, we're committed to driving positive change in the communities where we live, work and race.
And, along with colleagues from our Global Technology Services Partner Cognizant and Global Sponsor Citi, we arrived at McGill University to take part in a series of fascinating panel discussions ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix.
The event, in its second year, was hosted by the Bensadoun School of Retail Management at McGill University and saw speakers from our team, Cognizant, and Citi discussing a variety of topics over three panel talks, exploring how business and engineering in Formula One intersect, drive innovation, and affect the world around us.
On the agenda, advice on pursuing a career in STEM, the engineering behind getting our Formula One car on track, and Aston Martin Aramco's merchandise and marketing strategy which allows us to bring our team and sport to millions of fans around the world.
Panellists included:
Dr. Pooh Ling E - Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team HR & Talent Development Specialist
Phillip Charbonneau - Cognizant, Recruiter – Montreal
Azita Taravati - Citi, Managing Director Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory
Ben Fitzgerald – Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team – Operations Director
