Formula One has announced a Crypto.com Overtake Award designed to celebrate overtaking, and Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One™ Team's Sebastian Vettel is the mid-season leader.
Sebastian’s drive in Azerbaijan, rising from 11th to a famous second-place finish, and a spirited three-place gain in Monaco have helped the four-time World Champion take the lead.
Team-mate Lance Stroll will also be in contention for the award after his charge from 19th to 10th in France, as well as a similar battling display to Sebastian in Monaco.
Starting from this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix, viewers will be able to easily follow the battle to win the Crypto.com Overtake Award thanks to new bespoke broadcast graphics.
The graphics will also "signal overtaking possibilities and potential moves" to further highlight the challenge of battling a rival.
