"Last year there was a lot of positive feedback," said Lance. "A lot of people liked the helmet, so I wanted to keep it simple as it's become my identity on track.
"It [the 2022 design] is an evolution of last season as we came up with some new ideas.
"I kept the things that are important to me: the Maple Leaf, the #18, both of which were on there last year.
"We changed the wings a little bit. Last year they were white and this year I wanted them to blend into the helmet more.
"So we came up with these black matte wings with the Aston Martin lime stripes, which I think looks cool.
"It's a classier finish compared to last year's helmet. It looks great, and I'm really happy with what Mark Antar has designed. He always comes up with great ideas of what to do and how to evolve.
"Let me know what you think!"
