Aston Martin F1 Driver Ambassador Jessica Hawkins tells us about her journey into motorsport and her plans to help the next generation of drivers.
As the end of the 2022 season draws closer, AMF1 Driver Ambassador Jessica Hawkins took a moment to relax and have a drink at the bar with Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0% Global Brand Ambassador Simone Caporale.
In an intimate discussion, Jess reveals how she got into motorsport, her journey through W Series and how she took a chance on a stunt driving audition that changed her life.
"Everybody was telling me, 'Don't take this job, you're just about to crack the racing.' And I thought to myself, I don't even know if I'm going to be able to finish the season, let alone the following year. It's going to be another step up, another bigger budget," says Jess.
"So I thought, I'm going to do it, I'm going to take the job, I'm going to leave racing. It was the most amazing thing that I've ever done, the most incredible experience, and one that I will look back on forever."
