  • Event Manager

    The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team are searching for a highly talented and experienced Events Manager as a new addition to their exceptional Off-Track Events Team.

    This role is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career and harness your skill set within the international events industry, whilst working for an illustrious luxury British brand. Year on year, we continue to substantially increase our diverse event activity and presence away from the racetrack in line with the business’s requirements and its ultimate goal of reaching the pinnacle of F1, winning world championships.

    Role Overview:

    As the Off-Track Events Manager, you will be responsible for meticulous end-to-end planning (from conception to completion) and executing our assorted portfolio of luxury events and guest programmes, external to the trackside hospitality programme.

    Your responsibilities will see you lead or support on events such as but not limited to; car launch, British Grand Prix secondary hospitality, guest programmes, I/AM fan and partnership events, with occasional attendance trackside to support with the hospitality programme.

    Please note that this role is not trackside based and does not form part of the job description. Attendance to races is not guaranteed.

    Location & Hours of work:

    - You will be required to work within the office a minimum of 4 days, with the option of 1 work from home day if desired (unless travelling / working aboard)

    - Monday to Friday 8.30 – 17.30* - unless working on event, which may require you to exceed the stated hours.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Event Management

    - End to end management of event delivery, inclusive of operations and guest experience

    - Detailing events scheduling including installation timelines & run of show

    - Responsibility for overall Health & Safety requirement/s

    Management / Support of:

    - Supplier RFPs, contracts, and scopes of works

    - Event budgets

    - Event proposals including creative activations, site maps & branded elements

    - Venue sourcing

    - Status reporting

    - Event guest communication processes

    - Guest programme support - Guest logistics, police escorts, gifting, etc.

    Team Liaison

    - Excellent communicator and team player

    - Synergise with other event departments (Trackside operations & Internal events team)

    - Liaise regularly with other departments within the commercial department to ensure alignment and cross pollination

    - Contribute regular updates in internal meetings with wider team and to reporting line manager

    Supplier Management

    - Develop strong relations with suppliers and lead relevant meetings and communications

    - Negotiation - working with the internal procurement team to ensure value to for expenditure.

    Required Experience & Skillsets:

    - Extensive years’ experience in delivering exceptional events for high-net-worth individuals and/or luxury brands – Motorsport experience not essential but is desirable

    - Diverse experience in high-end events such as car launches, gala dinners, private parties, fashion shows and large-scale activations is highly relevant.

    - Ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment in a global context.

    - Strong creativity and the ability to conceive ideas that are unique, exciting and engaging for the specified demographic

    - Proven track record of managing and delivering luxury events, individually and collaboratively with team members.

    - Proficient AV & innovative tech familiarity

    - Hands-on approach with strong managerial skills (both team members and suppliers)

    - Confident leader with the ability to conceive and produce creative event proposals, activations & site maps

    - Ability to independently and collaboratively manage large-scale budgets.

    - Strong commercial acumen and a proactive attitude.

    - Outstanding interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate confidently and professionally across all levels of the business and with guests at events.

    - Familiarity with the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) essential and AutoCAD (or similar) highly desirable

    - Proficient usage of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) essential

    - Willingness to travel and work abroad when required. Please note this will be sporadic and subject to the business needs.

  • Finance Business Partner - Payroll

    In this role you will be required to:

    Business Partner

    - Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with senior executive leaders.

    - Lead on financial and resource matters; influence decision-making; improve the understanding of business performance; deliver analysis and insight on business opportunities; provide options and scenarios for business decisions.

    Analysis

    In this role you will be required to:

    - Support the Group Financial Controller with the Financial Accounting & Taxation function

    - Maintain and improve the financial accounting capability of the company giving confidence to the team’s stakeholders regarding integrity of financial reporting

    - Deliver the monthly accounting and reporting cycle for P&L, Cashflow and Balance Sheet

    About the role

    We are seeking a technically skilled and forward-thinking IT Director to lead the IT department, ensuring the effective management, organisation, and performance of all IT functions, including Trackside IT, Infrastructure and DevOps, Enterprise Platforms, and Architecture and Cybersecurity.   • Model Maker - Nights

    We have an exciting new opportunity to be part of the Model Manufacturing team as Model Maker - Nights. The successful candidate will have previous experience of model making in a high-level motorsport environment, have good attention to detail, work calmly and accurately under pressure, work positively and enthusiastically in a small team and have a flexible attitude to helping fulfil the requirements of the department and team as a whole.

    Working Night Shift in the Model Shop Team, the model maker will primarily be focused on the manufacture, assembly and testing of components for our wind tunnel test program. Whilst also ensuring all aero and race car requirements are always met to the highest possible standard. Wind tunnel sessions in rotation is also a key requirement of the role.

    Join us and play a vital role in our nightshift operations as we continue to push the boundaries of performance and innovation in motorsport.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Work night shifts as part of the Model Shop Team, focusing on the manufacture, assembly, and testing of components for the wind tunnel test program.

    - Ensure all aerodynamic and race car requirements are met to the highest standard.

    - Support weekend wind tunnel sessions on a rotating basis.

    - Identify potential part shortages or quality concerns and report these issues to Model department leads.

  • NDT Technician - Late Shift

    We have an exciting new opportunity to be part of the NDT Team as an NDT Technician Late Shift.

    The Successful candidate must have the following attributes:

    Primary Responsibilities

    - To contribute to the NDT team’s support of the preparation of parts for AMF1’s race cars with NDT methods. This includes Ultrasonic Inspection, Eddy Current Inspection, MPI Inspection, Dye Penetrant Inspection and Visual Inspection.

    - Be available to travel as and when required to fulfil the requirements of the role in which employed.

    - To work proactively, responsibly, professionally, and confidently at all times. To respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure.

    - To maintain and develop skill levels to aerospace standard and maintain a current and thorough working knowledge of NDT methods.

    - Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to your job role.

    Skills & Knowledge Required

    - Hold a minimum Level 2 NDT Qualification (EN4179/PCN).

    - Possess a thorough understanding of Ultrasonic Inspection, Eddy Current Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetrant Inspection and Visual Inspection.

    - Be able to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of A-Scan and Phased Array Ultrasonic Inspection, both handheld and immersion and Eddy Current Inspection.

    - Posses an excellent attention to detail and be able to adhere to company NDT specifications and procedures.

    - Knowledge of X-Ray and CT scan would be advantageous.

    - Previous experience as an NDT Technician in Formula One, high level Motorsport, or Aerospace would be beneficial.

    - Proficient in NDT report writing.

    - To be self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment.

    - Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales and be able to work with minimal supervision.

    - Have a willingness to undertake further training as required.

    - Ability to convey NDT findings effectively and confidently to the design and stress teams and back up your results with facts.

    - To communicate effectively, positively and respectfully with all colleagues

    - To have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.

    - Be results orientated and be confident in your decision-making skills under pressure both at the AMRTC and trackside.

    - Be enthusiastic and versatile and be able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues.

    - Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety.

    The role will be based at the Silverstone Factory / Brackley premises however there may be a requirement to travel as and when requested to meet the requirements of the Company.

    Primary Responsibilities

    - Goods receipting from outside suppliers

    - Progressing parts to the relevant inspection department

    - Receipting and reporting shop order parts from the Machine Shop

    - Receipting and reporting Shop Order parts for the tooling block, Rohacell and ADM deliveries

    - Liaising with the Laminating and Trim Departments with ETA’S

    - Collect completed parts from the Inspection Department, executing a move into stock transaction and labelling and locating accordingly

    - Labelling all completed parts and locating into central stores stock

    - Picking parts for Shop Orders and delivering to the relevant departments

    - Preparing kits and parts for collection by suppliers

    - Front counter service for internal departments

    - Run daily stock check reports

    - Consumable issuing, checking and order requisition placing

    - To attend and proactively participate in meetings as required

    - To work proactively, responsibly and professionally at all times and to respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure

    - To maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard and maintain current and thorough working knowledge

    - Any other duties as reasonably requested aligned to you job role

    In this role you will be required to:

    Strategic financial planning process

    - Ownership of the strategic financial planning process, ensuring that our 5 year plans are robust, reliable and built on sound assumptions

    - To seek opportunities and risks to our strategic plans, identifying, recording and reporting them in ways which enable clear, rapid decision making by the business

    - Linkage to our long-term FIA Financial Regulations compliance, ensuring that risks and opportunities within the cost cap are communicated appropriately

    - Develop awareness of the industry, identifying opportunities from outside the business which could support our overall objectives

    Long-term planning tool

    - Ownership of the maintenance and ongoing development of our in-house developed strategic financial planning tool

    - Identification of robustness, adaptability and prediction opportunities for improvement in the tool

    - Exploration and development of opportunities to bring artificial intelligence solutions to drive greater insight and efficiency

    Reporting standardisation and impact

    - Development of impactful reporting, enabling informed decision making by executive leadership

    - To support the ongoing development of our investor relations activities, ensuring consistent messaging across our shareholders

    - To increase the standardisation of our reporting where appropriate to maximise the efficiency of our processes

    Relationship building

    - Development of a tight-knit relationship with the FP&A team, providing both support and challenge to the short-term planning process

    - Build relationships with the Finance Business Partner team to further knowledge and understanding of the key drivers of the group’s financials and ensure these are appropriately incorporated to the 5 year plan

    - Develop awareness and exposure amongst the Executive Board to build an understanding of the financial and non-financial factors which underpin long-term financial performance and build trust in the strategic financial planning process

    - Assist the Director – Financial Reporting & Control, and other members of the finance team, with ad-hoc requests as required.

    - CCAB (ACA, ACCA) qualified

    - Experience of FP&A within a dynamic, fast-paced group environment
